It is an agreement that helps report the use of fuel use by motor carriers within this jurisdiction. If you are running a Company that has vehicles that are over 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight or have 3 or more axles on the power unit that are crossing the Canadian lines, the International Fuel Tax Agreement sticker is a must.



Are IFTA stickers identical?

Most IFTA stickers for the same year are identical. You can place this sticker on all thevehicle in your fleet. All IFTA decals expire on December 31st of each year. The annual fee for an IFTA license is $10.00. This license covers all your heavy motor vehicles. You are also required to pay a $2.00 per-set charge for annual IFTA decals. You will need one sticker foreach of the motor vehicle you operate within the IFTA jurisdictions. Failure to display your ITFA decals can lead you to pay fines worth thousands of dollars.
